Big news, puppet pals, tickets are now available for Puppets Up! 2024 – and if you act now you can save big on festival wristbands and single-event tickets to our evening, adults-only shows!
As always, the core of the festival will be shows running all day August 10 and 11 in various venues in Almonte’s historic downtown. Details on performers will be shared soon but we guarantee a good mix of familiar favourites and new names that will delight and dazzle! Talented troupes from across Canada and the US will perform in the daylight hours. These shows require wristbands and are seated on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those that like their entertainment to be a little less fuzzy and a lot more blue, there will be two evening shows as well. Almonte’s own Ben Durocher will be putting on an adults-only original show on August 9, sharing a little of his life as a puppet wrangler and performer in productions around the world.
Then the critically-ignored Saturday Night Cabaret returns August 10, where performers show you just how inappropriate a puppet can be in an unscripted and unserious romp through the Old Town Hall. These shows are ticketed separately and are for a mature audience only.
Early-bird pricing for tickets and wristbands is only available through May and June so don’t delay, buy today!
