PuppetCon workshop

Puppets in the Classroom

SOLD OUT!

In this workshop, not only will participants learn how to bring a puppet to life in the classroom or at their next story time, but they will create two simple puppets for kids to fall in love with. Every participant will go home with two puppets and the confidence to bring them to life and to get the teaching aid that they need. All puppet making supplies will be provided. If participants want extra fancy puppet making material, or they have something specific they want on their puppet, they can bring that.

Host: Sarah Argue

Rock the Arts was created when Sarah Argue got bored with her 9 to 5 office job. She began puppet building and Creatureville was born. Her puppet studio now houses over 100 puppets that tour across Canada with 6 original shows and one main goal: bringing people together to laugh!
