Coming to an old town hall near you…
Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Basketballs

* This show contains adult content. It is appropriate for mature audiences, not children.

Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Basketballs is a funny, irreverant, and at times bawdy puppetry take-off of the most famous and widely read of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories Hound of the Baskervilles.

Written by the witty and talented Allan Martin, the fast-paced 90-minute show is chock full of laugh-out-loud local and regional references that will delight audiences. Eight highly experienced puppeteers, directed by Joey Graff, will play a total of twenty-seven separate roles in four separate shows.

Evening performances are scheduled for May 12, 13 and 14, with a matinee on Sunday May 15; all are taking place at Almonte’s Old Town Hall.

The show’s beautiful handcrafted puppets have all been designed and fabricated by beloved master puppeteer Noreen Young. Many will be costumed by renowned designer Ingrid Hamster.

Puppets Up! is grateful to everyone associated with this fundraising project, from the scriptwriter to the puppeteers and co-producers, for donating a combined 1,500 hours of their time to this incredible production!
