He walks around town charming littles and bigs without ever saying a word and yet saying so much. He attends key community events throughout the year to shine a light on summer possibilities. He’s big. He’s beautiful. He’s Nick!

Named for a young boy once of Almonte, and made by our founder Noreen Young, Nick is the lovable, amazing, mascot of Puppets Up!

Ever wonder how Nick is the character he is? Who gives legs to this iconic part of the festival? Well, no one will ever know.

Ok, we do. We know that a volunteer, two or three, is involved who is well trained and determined to keep the magic going.

Email volunteers@puppetsup.com and let’s explore all the volunteer possibilities Puppets Up! has to offer.
