The first ever PuppetCon has come and gone and my word, wasn’t that fun?
We packed some workshops to learn about building puppets, handling puppets and making it in the business; we soaked up the collective knowledge of Canada’s leading puppet minds in informative panels; and we laughed, cried, cringed and stared in amazement at some incredible performances.
We couldn’t have done it without our wonderful partner in Levi Home Hardware Building Centre or our other generous and supportive sponsors. We certainly couldn’t have done it without our amazing and wonderful volunteers. And we couldn’t have done it without you, the incredible fans, budding artists and curious crafters who turned up and made this event so great!
We’ll be back August 9-11, 2024, with the Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival, but watch for news about PuppetCon 2 too, coming in August 2025!
