Big news, puppet pals, tickets are now available for Puppets Up! 2024 – and if you act now you can save big on festival wristbands and single-event tickets to our evening, adults-only shows!

As always, the core of the festival will be shows running all day August 10 and 11 in various venues in Almonte’s historic downtown. Details on performers will be shared soon but we guarantee a good mix of familiar favourites and new names that will delight and dazzle!  Talented troupes from across Canada and the US will perform in the daylight hours. These shows require wristbands and are seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

For those that like their entertainment to be a little less fuzzy and a lot more blue, there will be two evening shows as well. Almonte’s own Ben Durocher will be putting on an adults-only original show on August 9, sharing a little of his life as a puppet wrangler and performer in productions around the world.

Then the critically-ignored Saturday Night Cabaret returns August 10, where performers show you just how inappropriate a puppet can be in an unscripted and unserious romp through the Old Town Hall. These shows are ticketed separately and are for a mature audience only.

Early-bird pricing for tickets and wristbands is only available through May and June so don’t delay, buy today!

Calling all sponsors!

Sponsorship is your chance to shine and to be part of a gathering of like minds to celebrate our community, the creativity that thrives here and businesses like yours that make it such a great place to live and to visit.

Sponsorship means having a partner relationship with the festival – opportunities to be profiled on social media, media, on signs at the event, and, oh my, to get invited to special events and to the festival itself. What fun!

And you won’t be alone. Thanks to all who are joining in the excitement that is building already like our theatre sponsors: Joanne Beaton Realty; Levi Home Hardware; Vamos Outdoors, and You Better Call Paul – EXP Realty. And to our Booster Sponsors? Well, we’re thrilled that the list just keeps growing and growing: Aliferous Group; Alliance Coin & Banknote; Bank of Montreal; Dandelion Foods; General Fine Craft; Gilligallou Bird; Hummingbird Chocolate; L-D Tool & Die; Mill Street Books; Pêches & Poivre; Sivarulrasa Gallery; Wes Zacharuk Insurance Group – Cooperators; Westview Projects; and Jonssons – Your Independent Grocer.
